Control what makes paste

The Insert key is found on full-size keyboards with number pads. It may reside on the Zero key or as a dedicated key near the Home key. This may be a more useful option if you are dealing with a lot of numeric data and your fingers rarely leave the number pad. Remember that formatting and spacing frequently carry over with the text, which may lead to issues when pasting into a new field or form.

You can usually copy and paste an unformatted version of the text to help avoid these problems. This handy keyboard shortcut will undo the last action you made. If you were typing, for example, it will remove the last section of text you typed before pausing, which could be fairly long.

Most Windows applications support repeated undo commands, which means you can delete your last action, the one before that, and the one before that, and so on, so long as Windows kept a history of your actions. You can only copy text with the FSClipboard feature you cannot cut text using it. The text is appended to the end of any text already on the Clipboard.

The text is inserted into your document at the current location of the cursor. NOTE: If you attempt to add the same selection of text to the Clipboard more than once, the text is not added. Of course you can then switch to the second, or another "representative" letter, but the deeper you get, the less intuitive and memorable it becomes. While it's possible that the above can be managed within a specific app if it's small enough , it becomes impossible once you take into account that you're often using a number of apps at the same time. For instance, you're in Gmail which has some hotkeys, but it's running in a browser, which has its own hotkeys, and the browser is running on an OS with a different set of hotkeys.

And you might have something else actively running, like a music player.
